2009 ING Australia Gp

Speechless is the right word to describe the first race. Just two weeks ago, the Brawn outfit was not even sure whether they will be in Australia. But luckily they are here because this has thrown out the usual suspect of Mclaren and Ferrari territory. Well done button and barrichello!!!

Jobs

I went to recruit express to sign my contract for 1 wk of work at TNT. Jobs are really hard to find these days as i cast doubt over this assignment intially. The current financial situation does not make things any easier. Anyway, these few days i had been thinking really hard on my option of further studies. I have thought about automotive engineering as another option but the opportunity after graduation is unknown to me. If i am to work as a mechanics in any race team i would be over the joy...lol. Meanwhile my holiday is coming to an end so till then enjoy myself.

F1

This weekend is the start of the f1 season....YEAHOOOOOO
Anyway today i had bet on Button to get pole in Australia and oso help kj and yy too.

Result

What can i say..After such a long and tiring semester, i can definitely say a job well done to myself. With 5A and a B i'm quite satisfied and this brings me to a total no. of 10A and my target is to get 20 at the end of poly. Anyhow, next sem is the real challenge (Aerospace Engineering) ooo my god but i am fully motivated to prove my detractor wrong. Another challenge for myself is to get my distinction hahaha. A bit greedy ar mr chan leng

Wet Italian GP

What a race by Sebestian Vettel. The youngest winner and the person to score pole in F1. The Toro Rosso team which is used to be the Minardi has scored it first ever podium or win. The 21-year-old German, dubbed 'the next Schumacher' in his homeland, produced the performance of a seasoned champion to dominate the race from pole position on an unpredictable afternoon which saw the race begin in treacherously wet conditions.
Unbelievable,” he exclaimed afterwards.
“The whole race we had no problems and the car was working really fine.
“I had a fantastic race and a very strategy, but you know, all that was gone when I crossed the finish line and got the chequered flag.
“The lap back to the pits and the podium ceremony were just unbelievable.
“It’s for sure the best day of my life… These pictures, these emotions I will never forget.
“It’s so much better than you might think it is; it’s great!" Again, I can only say a big, big thank you to all the guys working in the team – they did a fantastic job,” said Vettel.
“We have about 160 people working in Faenza and I think every single one today feels very special and should feel very special.
“Who could have thought of this at the beginning of the season? We had a poor start [to the season], let’ say, but then we got better and better, and in these conditions we can make up a bit of our [deficit] by a bit more effort or staying a bit longer full throttle!
“It’s fantastic…I’m speechless.”
